Heroes are meh -- liking the new identity plates and helmets, good supply of new pieces, but as sets, meh.
The red... thing offends me.
Witch Doctor is pretty good, loving the head.
Fangz is okay.
Scorpio is a bad Scorponok rip off.
Rocka XL is a little too similar to Fire Lord for my liking.
Waspix is absolute love. This is how Gorast should have been. (Ignoring the colour differences, of course.)

The whole totally-balljoint armor system, at least in tandem with the totally-rod accessory system, seems silly to me.
And what do I care about Rocka XL's construction, I'd buy him for parts. *shrug*
Guess that's all I'll say for now... those are the main things I care about from my glancing through yesterday.

The ball joint armour makes for easier construction for younger fans, and opens up some interesting MoCing possibilities. I have already begun experimenting and can safely say that it works much better than one would think at first glance.
Totally with you on Rocka XL.

Well, you do not have to mess about with a lot of pins and axels, so it does simplify the construction process considerably.

| The thing is, though, you have to "mess about" with snapping them on (or off) the central balljoint on those limb pieces. It's not exactly hard to do so. But also the ball-socket armor also has less versatility in more Technic-oriented sets and stuff. They're not the most awful feet, actually. At least not for length. That prize might go to the Pridak feet or something. -|W|G|- | |

| Hey, I'm not complaining about anything else. Just the weird eyelessness of the Waspix/Scorpio and Rotor/Vapor heads. It's kind of neat that they brought Stringer back. At least we have a black set in Hero Factory... that's a color I look forward to, usually. -|W|G|- | |

| I don't know about Fangz's mask for a Crast.  Plus, there is a Black Crast out there. But anyway I'm glad they're finally starting to use some of the parts from Ben 10 sets that I like, like the hands and feet. -|W|G|- | |

| The black Crast is a prototype piece, which -to my knowledge- there is only one of. If you can get a hold of and sell it to me, sure I would use it.
Besides, the Makuta shapeshift their masks to make them more intimidating. The head from Fangz is sleek, and animalistic and has fangs. All I need t odo is add the crest.

| As far as I know, there is at least one or two Black Crast, as well as at least one or two PearlDarkGray Crast. *shrug* And sure, the Makuta can shapeshift, I was just wondering why you would choose that strange fanged helmet. Anyway, the new rounded sockets that they used to connect the armor pieces kind of look strange to me... not bad or anything, just a little different from any socket I'm used to, even those Ben 10 ones. -|W|G|- | |

Which means LEGO has to make a new mould, which means they have to charge more money (more than is needed) as they are a business afterall.

| Think about it, though. They didn't have to change EVERY SINGLE PIECE, people would buy it even if the basic sockets were the same type. In fact, they'd make MORE money if they left the most basic stuff alone, 'cause they wouldn't have to make a new mold for everything. See? -|W|G|- | |
