As you may or may not know, LEGO has released three fairly popular videogames based on their Star Wars sets. Quite basically, this is the place to discuss those games and everything in them.

I pulled our "Original Trilogy" out yesterday, for the windows PC. After my brother and I figured out how to play (very tricky!), I enjoyed it. it's a remarkable crosss between 3-D platformer, puzzle adventure mode, and that classic LEGO feel with the custimizable minifigures and J Building.

I certainly enjoy. We made it all the way through Chapter One. Although, I notice when you die you just lose all your studs and respawn... kinda reduntant, as all your studs are right there afterwards.

Yep, they're very good. I found the Original Trilogy hard to play too, but maybe it's because I hadn't played any Gamecube games before it...

It's not always like that with the loss of studs, though - if you repeatedly die, the studs start to disappear instead of falling to the ground. Plus, if you fall off a ledge into an abyss or something, the studs just disappear down.

Have you heard about that upcoming Star Wars III game?

Oh no... the only thing left would be for them to include Clone Wars!

Never liked Clone Wars... it was a bad idea.

But don't forget, I play on the PC. Scudonius and I just reached level three, but we can't get into the Port. Just after the part with the AT-ATs is a door. After going through, a force field prevents R2-D2 and C-3PO from entering. The only way to open the door would appear to be to get four characters to stand on th read circles, but you can only use two.

Help?

Oh, and in that portal area, shoot the blue beams that shove the 'droids backwards using Luke's blaster.

Yes, it works.

Now We'er stuck in the Death Star Control room. We have Stormtrooper Luke and Hon Solo and Chewbacka, and we're in a room with a control pannel and two doors on each side. A hallway leads to another door and is lined with levers. Pulling the lever will turn the light above it green for a short time. All three doors to a minigame in which one shoots tie fighters. Two other doors are in the hallway are present, but blocked by an R2-D2 lock.

Any ideas?

You want to get to the end? Well, if you are where I think you are, pull both levers (at the same time) then go down the hallway in front of you. Before I tell you where else to go, does that work?

There will be four doors, each opened by pulling sets of two levers at the same time.

The first door on the right will have some studs, I think, as well as the first door on the left.

The second door on the left should have a buildable skeleton that gives you studs and walks around a little.

The second door on the right has Princess Leia.

Past all the doors, there's a couple of droid panels that you can't open and an elevator that Death Star Troopers come out of.

I just bought the Imperial Spy... seriously, why do so many of the unlockable characters have no attacks?

I ended up re-creating him in the minifig custimizer and giving him a red blaster... he's pretty good in free-play. The actually thing only has one attack - his walkie-talkie - and that doesn't do anything.

The Imperial Spy can disable all droids in an area if you use his walkie-talkie power with Walkie Talkie Disable extra turned on. I find that pretty useful, sometimes.

I just did some research.

The Imperial Spy is named "Garindan", and is a bounty hunter and spy who has worked for Jabba the Hut and the Empire in the past. He appears to be a Kubaz, a elephant-trucked species of cave dwellers who need to wear masks to protect their eyes from the sun, but is actually human. The Kubaz is a discuise, appearently, as revealed in Star Wars 2: Six against the Galaxy.

He has been hired:

- By the Empire to find R2-D2 and C-3PO (Episode IV)

- By the Empire to infiltrate the Rebel's base and force them to move (Star Wars: Imperial Spy)

- By Darth Vader to identify the destroyer of the Death Star and later to track him down/Infiltrate the Rebel base on Hoth (Episode V)

- By Jabba to hunt down Han Solo (Episode V)

- By the Rebellion to track Udin, a bounty hunter with vital Imperial information. (Note: He had to be captured and interrigated first, but willingly helped the rebels afterwards)

So, as you can see, this guy's been a pain the the Rebellion's backside for some time.

Hmm, very interesting. He's pretty short in the game, though, for a human.

I shudder to think what the Rebels would do if they got their hands on him... he usually manages to escape from the Rebel troopers in the Cantina in the game, though.

Oh wait, Walkie Talkie Disable may not be available in your version... I think it might only be in the Complete Saga.

...no, I just figured it out.

For the rest of you, go to "Mos Eisely Space Port" (Episode Four, Chapter Three) and look for a floating red brick somewhere. After that, "Power Brick #3" should appear under Extras behind the Mos Eisely Bar. You can buy it there. Then, You can turn it on by pausing the game and looking under "Extras".

Of course, I have yet to find the power brick.

I thought Walkie Talkie Disable was the one on Escape from Naboo... Mos Eisley Spaceport should have Super Astromech, I thought.

Let me think... Naboo... yeah, it may onlt be in your version. Shoot. As for the brick in Spaceport, it should be behind an R2-D2 door near the begginning. Am I correct?

Edit: Yes, it's only in the complete saga, as the first one didn't have extras and the second didn't have that level. Oh, well.

No, I found it. Just something to power up your light saber...

I do beleove you can transfer your characters and unlocked levels to and from the Complete Saga, however. if that's true, I'll buy it. I... I've kinda fallen in love with the Imperial Spy. Although, wouldn't want him to be useless, so I need to power up his Walkie-Talkie to have any excuse to choose him as my player character...

Oh wait, it's Super Lightsabers? I'd forgotten which one. But yep, he basically has to have the Walkie Talkie Disable to be useful. Not sure about transferring unlocked things to and from the Complete Saga, though.

Hmph.

Just like Gonk Droid + Super Gonk Droid Extra = Super Gonk Droid.

Imperial Spy + Walkie Talkie Disbale + Invincablity = PWNAGE!

Now, when you say it destroys Droids, what does it do to non-droid enemies? And does it effect droids on your team? What about Droid NPCs, like Gonk Droids that run around, not hurting anybody?

And last of all; doesn't that also disable the Boss's Walkie-Talkie? My research shows it keeps him from calling reinforcements.

No, it doesn't destroy droids, it disables them. It does disable all droids in a particular area except your second player; that includes Gonks and PKs.

And I don't know that it disables the Boss's walkie talkie...

I thought that was the whole point.

That, or this also disables Sand Troopers...

I don't know, but the idea had something to do with making the Boss Battle easier. Are Storm Troopers and the like disabled? And aren't battle droids included in that? I'd hope so, as they were kinda the main enemies in the prequel trilogy...

No, but it makes Defense of Kashyyyk in the area with lots of battle droids easier. Troopers aren't disabled, but battle droids are.

It might, I've just never used it on there. Plus I don't always get a character with it - it's a rare ability, specific to the Imperial Spy and the Commander Battle Droid.

Yep, just those two though. You have to be careful with the Commander Battle Droid, though; if you want to have its Walkie Talkie Disable enabled, you have to turn off Self-Destruct.

Well, there aren't any Battle Droids in Original Trilogy, so I wouldn't know anyone but the Imperial Spy.

By brother and I, having learned of the Extra Codes in LEGO Batman, decided we'd use codes to get all of the extras in LEGO Star Wars... but we can't find them anywhere! Help?

The only one I know that exists is to get Force Grapple Leap, and that's only on the Complete Saga. I don't think anyone has discovered the codes to the extras...

Yep, there was LEGO Star Wars: The Videogame, LEGO Star Wars: The Original Trilogy, then LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, of which I certainly like the Complete Saga the best.

On the Complete Saga, though, there's a giant weird machine with BIONICLE sockets on it outside the Cantina that constantly spits out silver studs. (That is to say, the Stud Fountain, as LEGO calls it.)
