I think it's about time I made this. Here's the place to discuss the webcomic(s).

So discuss away, I guess.

I can't verify whether or not Pickle Inspector is win. I never read enough of Problem Sleuth to get to know the characters very well.

But yeah, I've read up to the very latest updates of Homestuck. I'm not going to vote in this topic's poll yet, not 'til someone else does.

How far along are you in Homestuck, Arty?

AF: Ah, so fairly far along. I can't remember if it came right before or right after Hivebent, though...

SpectRaKy: Yeah, I don't know that I'll have time to bother to read Bardquest. Or Problem Sleuth, for that matter. But Sollux is a fairly cool character.

Yeah, so was Jailbreak. Still, one MS Paint Adventure at a time is enough, I think.

Alright, maybe I'll try it. But I'm going to wait until AH takes another week-long break from writing Homestuck.

EDIT: Looks like there's a bit of a break going on. So I've started reading Problem Sleuth.

I'm really not that close to the end, but I pretty much get what's going on so far.

What IS it even with you and RULES SYTSTEMS MAN.

It's like you must be TOKING UP on a joint to make you LAW-ABDIDING or something, I can't even think of WHO leaves all their SYTSTEMS lying around like that.

AUUUUGH!

That said, it is pretty win.

Sorry for the double post, but it's time to GET my storyline idea on.

Before I begin, I finished Problem Sleuth. The world is real.

But yeah, okay, so I was wondering something else. If Lord English is already here in Homestuck, why haven't we seen him already? And if we have, who is he?

I had two equally (probably) ridiculous ideas. The first is that Lord English is Bro, thus bringing up the idea that Jack Noir was unable to kill Bro English, and that Bro English only appeared to die. This idea is due to the fact that Bro is probably the tallest and thinnest major character we've seen, when standing at full height. He normally looks about the same height as the other human guardians, but that's when he's hunched over in a combative pose.

(The prototyped Black and White Kings are just too large to consider for Lord-English-ship altogether.)

The second is that Lord English, in fact, is the AWESOME FELT BRO. What Awesome Felt Bro, you ask?

Well, what is SpectRaKy's idea then?

But yeah, the Cairo Overcoat would make Bro even more awesome. I might have to make a picture of Bro English if I can.

Yeah, I don't remember Doc Scratch saying that.

Also, if Sollux were Lord English, why would he bother copying LE's summoning code from the unhackable summoning server, then delete it? Why would he bother with all of Sollux's problems? Why has Doc Scratch never contacted Sollux? And if English gets power from destroying stuff, why didn't he go back in time - as he is innately capable of - and destroy one of the universes? As well, I can't remember any of the trolls knowing anything about the Green Sun.

Sollux is the only troll who can (mostly) deal with ~ATH, though Karkat managed the most basic codes.

And importantly, Sollux is nowhere near as tall as Lord English will need to be. None of the trolls are full-grown, and it was shown that even AH was unable to fit Lord English's coat. That's the main reason why Bro fits - Bro is the same height as the Guardians when he's hunched over in a combat pose. Who knows how tall he is when standing straight?

I have all of those except five hundred and thirty thousand styrofoam blocks. Though I'd be hard-pressed to actually track down the one thousand four hundred and forty-one remaining blocks in my house.

Okay dude no. You've got it backwards.

Lord English is born, or created, at the very end of the universe, by his ~ATH summoning code. He has the power to travel back in time. If he is already here, then he is an adult, or at least as tall as he ever is/will be/was.

EDIT: I cannot believe the latest update.

... auuuugh?

Also, I just realized that Bro's ectobiological birth is a problem to my idea as well. Unless, of course, Lord English went back AND was ectobiologically paradox-cloned, which would mean there are TWO Bros/Englishes running around.

It has its moments. However, I find it often ranges into the bizarre or simply nonsensical.

There is, of course, also a large amount of swearing in it.

Well okay yeah, maybe a little.

The story is MOSTLY coherent. Most of the bizarre times are plot devices or something.

I've learned to tune out most of the swearing by now, except for Gamzee's, which grates on my nerves a little (at least with his typing quirk).

The music is cool though, especially "Three in the Morning" and "Explore".

On the subject of the latest updates, Equius's ancestor seems pretty cool.

Hey yeah, he does kind of seem... "dwarvish", I don't know. He has a cool helmet and cool armor too, which also fit.

EDIT: Upon reading the memo where "Current" Karkat threatens Past Eridan, it's more confusing than previously. Future Gamzee asks "Current" Karkat if he can help "get his reconsider on". It's hard to tell if he's being ironically insane or if he actually means it.

Lol, Doc Scratch just got epically pwned by Spades Slick for the second time. It's almost as if he's incapable of predicting SS's actions.

Doc Scratch has "dark patches" in his omnipotence. He was specifically unable to tell what Darkleer was doing, and thus probably Equius. It seems reasonable to assume that, unless he WANTED SS to clock him over the head then burn his room/house, SS is also partly exempt from Doc Scratch's omnipotence.

As you can see, too, Doc Scratch had a flashing exclamation mark of surprise, so I'm guessing that he genuinely doesn't know all of what SS is going to do.

Matchsticks... HAS ARRIVED.

Yes, it does. Somehow, I think SS is going to remain alive.

However, this also means that two versions each of Matchsticks and Quarters are dead, along with two Sawbucks, two Stitches, two Crowbars, and one of everyone else. (I say "versions" because the Felt as a whole will probably keep reappearing, due to Quarter's coins and other shenanigans.)

No, no, Quarter's coins, plural. He keeps all coins except his own.

Anyway, the latest update is incredibly win.

This is also why neither can die before we see them duel.

Well, it's like the city SS built, right? The Felt just built their own, probably.

Not necessarily, and no. I can't definitely answer the first, but if they truly are billiards/pool-themed, there are no more Felt members.
